LAMB IN TOMATO STEW - My Style :))



Have been quite busy lately :) But never too busy for blogging :)))) hehehe! Anyway, this was what we had for brunch today : lamb in tomato stew with home made garlic bread and linguine.

500-600g lamb meat - diced
8 shallots - diced
1/3 cup cooking oil
1 tsp chili powder
1 inch ginger - minced
4 garlic - minced
2 fresh tomatoes - diced
3 tbsp allspice (5 spices may also do)
375 ml of traditional pasta sauce
some fresh coriander leaves
400 ml water (or you may add or reduce according to your taste)


Brown the shallots, garlic and ginger in oil. Add lamb and stir thoroughly. Then, add all other ingredients, cover and leave to simmer for 40-60 minutes. Serve with pasta of your choice and some home made garlic bread. It would be nice if you could complement all of that with a glass of freshly squeezed cooling orange juice - Enjoy!! :))


You may sprinkle some Parmesan on top if you like it that way :)

BUBUR LAMBUK TIMUR SELATAN :)))



Bubur Lambuk Terengganu yang telah diJohorJawakan :) Kenapa nama dia mcm tu...sebab makan dengan sambal kicap..Hish,teruk betul orang 'kacukan' Jawa ni...mkn apapun dengan sambal kicap!! :)) Yang menariknya tentang bubur ni ialah sayur-mayurnya...bagi yang menyukai segala jenis ulam/daun2 blh cuba masak bubur ni - memang sedap :p~ Kalau tak percaya, tanya NURINDAH atau SUZI...*pandai-pandai je bagi nama....ngeeee :))))

2 pot beras - masak jadikan bubur
2 ekor ikan kembung - rebus, perisi dan kisar
1 sudu besar lada hitam - tumbuk
1 inci halia - kisar
8 ulas bawang merah - kisar
3 ulas bawang putih - kisar
ulam-ulaman - pucuk paku merah & hijau, daun kesum, daun selasih, daun kaduk, daun kunyit (bersihkan & racik)
1/2 cawan santan kelapa
garam/perasa secukupnya

Masukkan semua bahan ke dalam bubur nasi kecuali sayur-sayuran. Biarkan mendidih dan kemudian masukkan sayur-sayurnya. Masak hingga sayur layu dan angkat. Siap, hidangkan bersama sambal kicap :)) *Oppssss, thanks KAK NAZ for the recipe!! :p~

ORANGE POPSICLE FROTHY :)



1-2 oranges cut into cubes and put it into a freezer overnight, 1 glass of orange soda and 1 cup evaporated milk. Pour evaporated milk (or fresh milk) in a glass of orange soda and stir with a straw...Put in cubes of frozen oranges (the ones you made earlier) and...Enjoy :))))
