Vietnamese are friendly and hard working.
You can tell their successful future even today.

1/2 cup of water
1/4 cup freshly squeezed orange juice
2 green apples (Granny Smith) - finely chopped

A slightly sticky dough will be formed and let it rest for 15 minutes. Next, add apple bits and knead until smooth. As you go along, you may sprinkle some flour if the dough is somewhat sticky. Once done, let it rest again for another 10 minutes. Place dough on floured board. Roll the dough and use donuts cutter to form donuts shape. Cover and let them rest for about 30 minutes more. Deep fry until golden brown. Drain and then let the donuts cool-down on a rack. Once cooled, dust donuts with confectionery sugar.

Saya memang tak pernah langsung masak maman, beli pun tak pernah tapi kalau makan masak gulai daging salai campur maman di rumah kenduri tu pernahlah sekali dua. :))
