1 cup toor dhal/pappu, 1 cup channa dhal, 1 large onions (finely chopped), 2 red chillies, 1 inch ginger, a few curry leaves , oil for deep frying and salt to taste.
Soak all dhals/pappu together overnight. Grind all ingredients except onions to a coarse paste. Heat oil for deep frying. Add onions to the paste. Shape like Vada and deep fry. Serve hot with ketchup or chutney. Enjoy!
